520 | _aThis qualitative study explores the opportunities for learnance inherent in hospital crisis situations through an empirical investigation based on interviews with 31 health professionals from several French hospitals. A mapping of crisis situations at both macro and micro levels of the organization was carried out based on participants first-hand accounts. Learnance appears in the form of informal learning and highlights the institutional context as a ìlearning organization. Health professionals demonstrate genuine intra- and interpersonal skills. A self-reflective approach to learning on the job emerges along with personal self-efficacy and a pooling of diverse resources that are rooted in training as well as in professional and personal experience. | ||
