520 _aThe agreements concluded by the Union nationale des caisses d’assurance maladie (UNCAM) (National Union of Health Insurance Funds) with the representatives of private health professionals are of a very specific nature. This is reflected in their legal framework and in their litigation. The Conseil d’État (Council of State), which is called upon to examine these cases by way of appeals concerning abuse of power, endeavors to facilitate their negotiation, but also their evolution, and to recognize the widest margins in compliance with higher standards. In this regard, the jurisprudence of the past decade continues an older trend.
