520 | _aThe social urban space appears at the junction between public and private actions on the public space and the daily experience of it. The ingredient that links “the physical urban space” to “the social space” is the accessibility, namely the physical urban space capacity to communicate with the inhabitants, to be accepted and to participate to the urban life. My article will present the results of a research conducted on the post-communist monuments of Bucharest, starting from this relational perspective. “The public sphere” is another notion I will investigate in relation to the monuments’ production. | ||
