520 _aThe manga because of its format of ultra-consumption became a particular cultural epiphenomenon in the West. Thus, this text will try to extract some significant elements of its current attraction. Considering that the manga is the emanation of a culture profoundly soaked by its Buddhist origins – ukiyo: floating world –, as well as the result of the attentive observation of the cinema and the comics, we shall emit the hypothesis that its visual techniques would strengthen the current trend of the principle of and impregnation to the fictional worlds.
