The bodies supposed to exercise control over world health, such as the World Health Organization, have to deal with new actors offering valuable financial perspectives but operating independently of the regulatory authorities, and sometimes with even less reference to the basic needs of the populations who, through geopolitical economic realism, face a double danger of an unequal and connected world.
