The author thinks that parents have a certain responsibility in the persistence of their children’s problems at school. She proposes strategies aimed to reach a real collaboration between school and family, based on the respect of parents and their freedom of choice, and to mobilize the parent’s competence in order to allow their children to discover their own competence, and more precisely their competence for learning.
