520 _aThe International Cannabis Need of Treatment (INCANT) project had an exceptional status in the family therapy research domain in France. The purpose of this randomized controlled trial was to compare a new family-based treatment (Multidimensional Family Therapy – MDFT) to traditional treatment in the reduction of cannabis abuse among adolescents. In this article, we explore the transition phase between the end of the study and the implementation of MDFT in daily institutional and clinical work. What were the challenges encountered in the training of the first and second generation MDFT therapists? What are the practical and clinical questions concerning an evidence-based family therapy that emerge in the supervision relationship?
