520 _aUsually when a request for consultation is addressed, it is because there is a lack of dynamism in the organization of the system, and this can lead to the emergence of a symptom. The patient/therapist coevolution in the therapeutic dance requires an understanding, through modelling, of the type of organization in which the system exists. Based on clinical illustrations of couple’s therapy, this article shows how the therapist, using the therapeutic model of the Milieu humain (human environment) developed by Étienne Dessoy, whose complexity the author continues to consider, makes explicit the possible rigidity of the encounter in order to imagine, with his or her patients, one avenue or another of change. This search for a possible sense of what the couple is experiencing happens in the here and now, in relation to its transgenerational heritage.
