520 _aAfter ten years of existence, the current status of Generic Services for Help and Care at Home has not succeeded in clarifying for service users how SSIAD and Home Care Services (HCS) should be coordinated. The Act on Adapting Society to Aging proposes an experimental structure for Services for Help and Care at Home, combining services for the disabled with those for the elderly. By breaking down barriers between help for these two groups, it becomes possible to create an integrated model based on a design specification constructed by actors in these sectors working together. This article takes stock of the measures taken to accompany these changes in Experimental Generic Services for Help and Care at Home (EGSHCH) practices.
