This work, unpublished in the author’s life-time has for model Shakespeare’s A midsummer Night’s Dream – the action being transposed to the realm of elves.His political satire concerning both the change of opinion of his comrade in arms Alexander Bach and the political set-back of the restoration exposes the introduction of a constitution in elf land as being nothing but mere illusion.

Die politische Satire, die auch den Gesinnungswechsel seines früheren Mitkämpfers Alexander Bach und den restaurativen Rückschlag zum Thema hat, entlarvt die Einführung der Verfassung in das Elfenreich als Trugbild einer wahren Konstitution.
