La chaîne de production du livre connaît la plus grave crise de son histoire, la montée d’Internet coïncidant avec la dégradation de la situation politique et économique du pays. La situation ne semble pas devoir s’améliorer, les éditeurs s’opposant aux rabais sur les ventes au public de nouveaux livres.
