520 | _aHow does trust shape a bank’s organizational structure? We provide an answer to this question by using trust indicators determined specifically for each bank. We calculate a local measure of trust for each bank based on responses to surveys conducted by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Using this measure, we show that the organizational structure of banks is more centralized (resp. decentralized) in areas where trust is high (resp. low). JEL C odes: G21, L14 | ||
