520 _aIn this article, the author presents a discussion group for adolescents and pre-teenagers within a child psychiatric hospital unit. Based on institutional psychotherapy, this discussion group aims to improve the caregivers/care-receivers relationship. The article describes how the group offers containment for these young patients’ impulses, helping them to welcome and transform their projections on the care system, and to prepare to leave the unit. By welcoming their speech, offering an active position, and expressing conflicts, we encourage them not to act out during hospitalization.
