Ma longue expérience aidant, la Gestaltiste réapparaît en moi pour me sommer de réguler un émotionnel exacerbé. Une respiration lente et profonde me permet de rouvrir mon cœur et de retrouver la sensation du contact avec la jeune mère. J’ancre mes pieds au sol. Un long moment passe. Je reviens résolument dans l’écoute attentive de Caroline. Quand je relève les yeux, le puzzle prend littéralement forme : le bébé, c’est elle.

Thanks to my long experience, the Gestalt therapist in me re-emerges, beckoning me to regulate an extreme emotional state. Slow, deep breathing allows me to reopen my heart and rediscover the sensation of contact with the young mother. I anchor my feet in the ground. A long moment passes. I return resolutely to attentive listening to Caroline. When I look up, the puzzle literally takes shape: SHE is the baby.
