| 520 | _aIntroduction. Depuis décembre 2019, une maladie virale impliquant le coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 est responsable d’une pandémie mondiale. Les personnes âgées fragiles sont les plus touchées. L’Ehpad et les unités de soins de longue durée (USLD) du CHU Amiens-Picardie ont enregistré leurs premiers cas en février 2020, ayant conduit à l’ouverture d’une unité dédiée au Covid-19 et à la mise en place de protocoles de confinements spécifiques. Méthode. Étude descriptive sur la prévalence d’une séroconversion au Covid-19 et état des lieux de l’impact de l’épidémie au sein de l’Ehpad et des USLD. Résultats. Au 15 et 16 juin 2020, la sérologie Covid-19 était positive pour 146 (66,1 %) des résidents testés. Le taux de séroconversion était de 88,7 % en Ehpad et 45,6 % en USLD avec une différence significative (p < 0,001). Discussion. Lors de la période d’épidémie, il n’a pas été enregistré un index de surmortalité au sein de ces structures du CHU Amiens-Picardie. Chez certains patients fragiles, le rôle de l’immunosénescence peut être évoqué avec l’absence de réaction inflammatoire. Cette étude montre que la prévalence d’une séroconversion et donc d’une contamination, est moins importante lorsque le patient est isolé dans une unité dédiée par rapport à un confinement au sein de sa propre unité. | ||
| 520 | _aIntroduction. Since December 2019, an emerging infectious viral disease implicating a coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has caused a global pandemic. Elderly people, being more fragile, are the most affected by the severity and lethality of this disease. The NH and LTCU of the Amiens University Hospital registered their first Covid-19 cases in February 2020, which lead to the opening of a Covid-19 dedicated unit and of specific protocol for confinement. Methods. This descriptive study was analyzing the prevalence of Covid-19 seroconversion within the NH and the LTCU of the Amiens University Hospital. Both this screening test and the nasopharyngeal swab PCRs were in order to assess the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic in NH and LTCU. Results. On June 15th and 16th, the serological tests for Covid-19 were positive for 146 (66.1%) of the residents tested. The seroconversion rate was significantly different (p < 0.001) between the NH (88.7%) and the LTCU (45.6%). Discussion. During the epidemic, there was no excess mortality index within the NH and LTCU services of the Amiens University Hospital. Among frail patients, the role of immunosenescence can be discussed to account for the absence of this inflammatory reaction. This study showed that isolating the infected patient in a dedicated unit significantly reduces the risk of seroconversion and contamination compared to isolating them within their own unit. | ||
