| 520 | _aTrauma takes shape in the body of the narrative. Whether it is a question of the clinical approach, or of the literature, of case studies, or narrative analysis, we contend that the dynamic process of dreams, characterized as it is by a stream of oneiric images, is the archaic driving force behind any work of writing. The suffering of Mr A., a serious burn victim and traumatic neurotic, typically embodies the characteristic of freezing at the image of terror. The study of this case allows us to develop a clinical narration, as well as to grasp the advantage of transferential writing in the context of a literary undertaking within the narrative process. | ||
