520			_aL’historiographie du fait religieux a connu de profondes mutations depuis une quarantaine d’années, prenant une autonomie complète à l’égard des institutions ecclésiales et investissant fortement le champ universitaire. Elle s’est orientée vers de nouvelles perspectives de recherche, à commencer par l’analyse des pratiques ou des dévotions, l’étude des groupes et des organisations, l’examen à nouveau frais des relations entre politique et religion, en s’appuyant fortement sur les réflexions conduites dans des champs disciplinaires voisins, notamment la sociologie.

The present orientation is towards new research perspectives such as the analysis of religious practices or devotions, the study of groups and organizations, the analysis of the links between politics and religion while being based on reflections being carried out in neighbouring disciplines such as sociology.
