520			_aCet article met d’abord en lumière l’histoire de la réception de la musique de Robert Schumann (1810-1856) au Japon en faisant mention de son contexte social et de l’évolution des musiciens depuis le début de la véritable réception de la musique occidentale dans ce pays lointain. Ensuite, à travers les interviews de deux pianistes internationaux, il mène une réflexion sur l’interprétation de la musique de Schumann dans la mondialisation en lien avec cette réception.
520			_aThis article presents the history of the reception of the music of Robert Schumann (1810-1856) in Japan, with reference to both the social context and the ways that musicians have changed since Western music started to be accepted there. Two international pianists are interviewed, which leads to an additional exploration of how Schumann’s music is interpreted in this era of globalization and how this relates to its reception in Japan.
