520			_aRésumé Nous avons choisi de nous référer au personnage de Moïse dans l’Exode pour illustrer les valences de mort ou de vie de la culpabilité ; en effet dans un premier temps, mû par sa haine refoulée contre Pharaon qui a tué tous ses frères de sang, Moïse tue un Egyptien – toutefois c’est à partir de cette même culpabilité qu’il apprendra, grâce aux autres rencontres faites au long de son histoire, le « souci pour l’autre » : sans la Princesse qui fait alliance avec sa mère pour le sauver, sans son beau-père Jethro qui lui fait confiance, sans sa femme Cippora, Moïse ne serait sans doute jamais devenu cet homme de l’« alliance » – une alliance certes proposée, mais qu’il allait devoir réinventer avec yahve et avec son peuple.
520			_aThe double valence of guilt We chose to refer to the character of Moses in the Exodus to illustrate the valences of life or death of guilt ; indeed at first, driven by his repressed hate for Pharaoh who killed all of his blood-brothers, Moses kills an Egyptian man – however, it is from this very guilt that he will learn, with the help of other encounters along his story, the “worry for the other” ; without the Princess who makes an alliance with his mother to save him, without Jethro, his father in law, who trusts him, without his wife Cippora, Moses would probably never had become this man of “alliance” – a proposed alliance, yes, but one that he would have to reinvent with yahweh and with his people.
