La tâche du commandement est alors immense et transcende la fugacité du combat : le chef est en effet celui qui prépare les esprits à l’engagement et qui conduit la bataille afin de garantir la résilience collective de la troupe, des âmes et des cœurs. En définitive, le rôle du chef est bien là, être celui qui parvient à donner du sens quand tout semble en être dépourvu.
