520 _aBased on two surveys of intermediated employment (hostess services and temporary work), the article questions the possibilities of “arrangement with the law” that this type of employment relationship specifically offers. The process of managerializing the law, understood as a mechanism for putting the law at the service of managerial interests, is reinforced insofar as these labor market intermediaries also act as intermediaries of the law. Client companies find a way to secure the circumvention of labor law by having recourse to the expertise of these intermediaries.
