520 _aBased on the life stories and incarceration histories of three sisters from marginalized social backgrounds, the article offers an analysis of the experiences of prison confinement in Argentina, while highlighting the continuities that are woven through the bodies of the inmates, their family history and the precariousness of existence. After situating the point of view adopted, the text traces the place of incarceration in the family and individual trajectories of these women confronted with multiple precariousness; and then focuses on marking of the body and carnal experiences of incarceration; both through the mortifications undergone and the complex relationships that develop within this female entre soi.
