520			_aAxé sur l’étude de figures sculptées anthropomorphes, représentations divines ou d’ancêtres déifiés tiki ou ti’i, composantes majeures du patrimoine matériel culturel de la Polynésie française, cet article retrace un panorama de pratiques curatoriales au sein du paysage culturel local. Celles-ci révèlent des différences de considération envers ti’i et tiki de différents archipels, illustrées notamment par une surreprésentation du tiki marquisien. L’histoire des collections et l’évolution des pratiques d’exposition associées au sein du musée de Tahiti et des Îles – Te Fare Manaha et de son prédécesseur, le musée de Papeete, sont ainsi abordées. L’analyse s’étend ensuite aux contextes curatoriaux extra-muséaux, notamment liés à une culture populaire et visuelle urbaine reflétant la forte présence contemporaine locale de ces figures réappropriées et translocalisées, souvent au-delà de leur archipel d’origine. Productions contemporaines, reproductions ou motifs, elles incarnent des transformations de valeur(s), reflet de la complexité et du dynamisme culturel de cette région.
520			_a‪Through the study of anthropomorphic sculptures, representations of deities or deified ancestors ‪ ‪tiki‪‪ and ‪ ‪ti’i‪‪, a major component of the material culture heritage of French Polynesia, this paper offers an overview of curatorial practices developed in the local cultural landscape. These reveal differences in the consideration of figures from various archipelagos, mainly exemplified by an over representation of the Marquesan ‪ ‪tiki‪‪. The history of the collections and associated curatorial practices within the Musée de Tahiti et des Îles – ‪ ‪Te Fare Manaha‪‪ and its predecessor the Musée de Papeete will therefore be discussed. The analysis then expands to curatorial contexts outside the museum-scape, particularly linked with a popular and urban visual culture, which reflects the strong contemporary local presence of these reappropriated and translocated figures, often beyond their originating archipelago. Contemporary productions, reproductions or motifs embody value transformations, reflecting the cultural complexity and dynamism of this region.‪
