520			_aLe Grand voyage au pays des Hurons (1632) du récollet Sagard emprunte plusieurs traits au récit d’aventure : il convie le lecteur à contempler une épopée marquée par d’innombrables dangers, dont la finalité est la conversion de l’humanité a priori la plus rétive au message chrétien. Mais il puise aussi, non sans équivoque, dans les ressorts fictionnels du récit d’aventure afin de plaire. À un autre niveau d’analyse, le terme d’ aventure sera envisagé sous l’angle des effets de sens que la missiologie post-tridentine – dont le recours à l’image matérielle – a parfois produits au contact du monde huron.
