| 520 | _aLa Société du Familistère de Guise est une entreprise démocratique fondée en 1880 par Jean-Baptiste Godin, industriel partisan d’un socialisme réformiste. Il y applique les principes coopératifs de la « participation », terme à comprendre comme un partage avec les ouvriers de la gestion de l’entreprise, de son capital et de ses bénéfices. Jusqu’en 1968, cette société conserve, malgré les épreuves, ce fonctionnement original et devient ainsi un modèle pour les défenseurs de la participation aux bénéfices. À travers leur histoire et leurs archives, on constate une forte évolution du sens pris par ce terme de « participation » : d’abord prônée par les partisans de la coopération, cette politique salariale est ensuite envisagée par une partie du patronat avant de finalement prendre une forme législative très éloignée des idéaux d’origine. | ||
| 520 | _a« Guise Familistère Society » is the name of a democratic company founded in 1880 by Jean-Baptiste Godin, a socialist manufacturer. This company has an organization based on the idea of letting the workers « participate », which means that the management, the capital and the profits are to be shared between the employer and the employees. Despite many difficulties, the Familistère manages to keep this organization until 1968, and becomes quickly a model forwarded by many tenants of this idea of « participation ». Through the Familistère history appears the important evolution of this idea : formerly defended by the cooperative movement, it is slowly commended by some employers whishing to modernize french industry and finaly inspires a very different law from the original ideals. | ||
