| 520 | _aL'objectif de cet article est de comprendre le rôle que peuvent jouer les villes petites et moyennes dans les stratégies de développement territorial face aux enjeux démographiques, dans le cadre d’ “initiatives d'aménagement du territoire pour la cohésion territoriale” en Espagne. Après avoir précisé la fonction des ces villes dans la perspective d’une articulation au système urbain européen et espagnol, l’anayse propose d’établir les relations “urbain-rural” en faveur d’une action transformatrice moins dépendante du monde urbain et plus centrée sur les besoins des espaces situés en dehors des espaces métropolitains. La dernière partie présente les initiatives récentes contre le “défi démographique” du Gouvernement espagnol qui accorde plus d'attention aux territoires et à l'objectif de cohésion. | ||
| 520 | _aThe aim of this article is to understand the role of small and medium-sized towns in territorial development strategies in the face of demographic challenges, within the framework of "spatial planning initiatives for territorial cohesion" in Spain. After clarifying the function of these towns in the urban system, an analysis of urban-rural relations in favor of transformative action less dependent on the urban world and more focused on the needs of areas outside metropolitan areas is proposed. The last part presents the Spanish government's recent initiatives to tackle the "demographic challenge", paying greater attention to territories and spatial cohesion. | ||
