Tout d'abord, il procède à une lecture du texte de 1975 en montrant comment les catégories servant à définir la « littérature mineure » proviennent d'une approche originellement non littéraire, mais philosophique et politique, celle de L'Anti-Œdipe. Ensuite, il inscrit la notion dans le contexte des théories littéraires du xxe siècle, notamment celle Walter Benjamin et de Roland Barthes, en montrant que certaines intuitions des auteurs du Kafka se trouvent déjà en filigrane chez eux, mais ancrées dans une approche plus directement littéraire que philosophique ou politique.
520			_aThe article proposes to revisit critically the notion of « minor literature » coined in 1975 by Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari about Kafka in Kafka:Toward a Minor Literature. It proceeds to read the 1975 text, then shows how the categories used in defining « minor literature » come from a non literary source, in fact from a philosophic and political one, that of L’Anti-Œdipe. Then, it inscribes the notion within the context of twentieth century literary theories, more precisely Walter Benjamin’s and Roland Barthes’s, arguing that some of the Kafka insights are already hinted at in the latter writers, however rooted in an approach more directly literary than philosophic or political.
