520			_aCet article, après avoir restitué succinctement le contexte historique de l’écologie politique, en avoir rappelé les racines, propose une typologie des écologies politiques. Le premier courant apparaît dès la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, l’écologie malthusienne. Une place particulière est attribuée à l’écologie arcadienne à laquelle on a tendance à réduire l’ensemble de l’écologie politique. Les autres courants sont les suivants, les écologies : autoritaire, institutionnaliste, catastrophiste, grassroots, constructiviste et anarchiste.
