520			_aL’Église rencontre aujourd’hui de nombreux défis. Un grand problème est cette incapacité évidente à annoncer aux hommes la joie de l’Évangile. Un regard sur l’histoire de l’Église montre comment des saints ont réagi à des moments de crise : vivre la conversion et y appeler, pas tellement ceux qui sont à l’extérieur, mais bien les membres de l’Église. C’est toujours à nouveau nécessaire pour rester fidèle à Jésus Christ durant les parcours sinueux de l’histoire. Au centre de la foi chrétienne, il y a Dieu et l’homme. La situation du moment est un défi donné par Dieu pour se mettre en route en Église : aller à la rencontre des hommes avec un grand amour et prendre la route avec eux.
520			_aThe Churdh today faces numerous challenges. A major problem is the seeming incapacity of proclaiming to people the joy of the Gospel. A glance at the history of the Church indicates how the saints reacted to times of crisis: to experience conversion and call others to it, not primarily those who are on the outside but indeed the members of the Church themselves. It is needed time and time again in order to remain faithful to Jesus Christ through the tortuous paths of history. At the centre of the Christian faith is God and humanity. The situation at the moment is one of a challenge by God to take to the road as a Church: to go out to meet people with great love and to walk along at their side.
