In collaboration with Kinyamateka, they published in forty international newspapers a facsimile of an edition of the Catholic newspaper. “Operation Kinyamateka” allows us to understand the state of the Rwandan press one year after the genocide and the perception that the international media have of the genocide. It reveals an international press campaign hostile to the new Rwandan government, a decisive moment that initiates certain lasting divisions within French circles specializing in Rwanda. | ||

L’« opération Kinyamateka » permet de faire le point sur l’état de la presse rwandaise un an après le génocide et révèle une campagne de presse internationale hostile au nouveau gouvernement rwandais, un moment décisif qui initie certains clivages durables dans les milieux français spécialistes du Rwanda. | ||
