Les politiques mises en œuvre par le gouvernement sénégalais pour la prise en charge de cette population âgée sont balbutiantes. Nous analysons ici le bricolage des médecins et le militantisme des acteurs concernés par la problématique du vieillissement à travers un réseau national et international. L’imbrication des solidarités institutionnelles, familiales, intra et intergénérationnelles montre la complexité de la question du vieillissement dans ce pays pris entre convivance et survivance, comme Marc Abélès les a définis. | ||
