Cet article traite des débuts de la déception américaine à l’égard de l'Europe, du droit international et des organisations internationales entre 1914 et 1946.

Many Americans became convinced that European civilization had failed to emerge from the excesses of state sovereignty and militarism. This essay illustrates the onset of American disillusionment with Europe and with international law and organization between 1914 and 1946.
