520			_aEn prenant appui sur les écrits personnels de douze femmes qui ont vécu les révolutions de 1830 et de 1848 sans y participer directement, cet article cherche à analyser les reformulations du temps à l’œuvre chez celles qui semblent au plus loin de l’expérience révolutionnaire. Ennuyeux, banal, ordinaire… elles ne mâchent pas leurs mots pour décrire, avant l’événement, un quotidien marqué par la répétition. C’est pourquoi lorsque l’événement surgit, il met en mouvement leurs émotions, bouleverse leurs manières d’être au monde. Plus qu’une critique de la domination, il leur offre l’espoir d’être enfin impliquées dans un présent collectif dont elles s’estimaient jusqu’alors exclues.
520			_aIn this paper, we analyze how twelve women—the citizens who seem to be furthest from the revolutionary experience—wrote about their experiences of time during the revolutions of 1830 and 1848. None of them took an active part in these revolutions, but all wrote about their life in diaries, letters, or memoirs. Before the event, they describe a boring, ordinary, and routine daily life. When it occurs, it triggers new emotions and upsets their way of being in the world. More than a criticism of domination, it offers them the hope of finally being involved in a collective present from which they had felt excluded.
