520			_aResumé La rencontre entre une communauté migrante et une communauté d’accueil est, sur le plan psychique, la rencontre entre deux traumatismes : le traumatisme de la migration (pour les migrants) et le traumatisme de l’intégration (pour les accueillants). Car toute communauté migrante apporte avec elle une problématique complexe, liée à l’ambivalence entre souhait d’intégration et peur de perdre son identité (désintégration du sujet et du groupe). Elle se trouve confrontée à une communauté d’accueil dont la problématique est en miroir, similaire (mais non identique), soit une ambivalence entre souhait d’intégration (de l’autre, de l’ « étranger ») et peur de perdre son identité. D’abord, cette rencontre, qui est en fait une confrontation, ne peut amener à terme de véritable intégration, sur le plan psychique individuel et groupal, qu’au prix d’un travail psychique impliquant une souffrance psychique, individuelle et groupale. Cette souffrance psychique s’exprime à travers et est renforcée par les processus collectifs, sociaux et culturels. On peut donc s’appuyer sur ces mêmes processus pour la contenir et en permettre l’élaboration.
520			_aThe meeting between a migrant community and a receiving community is in fact, on the psychic plane, the meeting between two traumatisms : migration traumatism, and integration traumatism. Every migrant community brings within itself a complex problematic, being ambivalent between its wish of integration and its fear of losing its identity (fear of desintegration, as well for a subjct as for a group). It is confronted with a receiving community which probematic is similar even if not identical, being ambivalent between its wish of integration (of strangers, of aliens) and its fear of losing its identity. This meeting, which is always in fact a confrontation cannot lead to true integration, on the psychic level, individual or groupal, without a psychic work, which implies psychic suffering, individual as well as groupal. This psychic suffering expresses itself trough, an dis reinforced by, collective, social and cultural processes. Therapists can use these same processes to help elaboration and contain this suffering.
