520			_aResumé L’auteur résume brièvement les principales notions de la théorie de l’attachement particulièrement pertinentes pour l’enrichissement des pratiques dans le domaine de la protection de l’enfance. Les principales applications cliniques détaillées sont ensuite l’attachement désorganisé et le paradoxe de l’attachement dans la maltraitance, les liens entre non sécurité de l’attachement et psychopathologie et enfin le problème des décisions de maintien ou de séparation des liens entre un enfant et ses parents « inadéquats ». L’importance de l’évaluation et l’engagement de l’institution dans les réponses thérapeutiques sont soulignés.
520			_aThe domaine of youth protection: the enrichment of practices by the theory of attachmentThis paper presents the core issues of attachment theory which are particularly relevant to the enrichment of the practice in the field of child protection. Main clinical applications are described: Disorganized attachment, the paradox of maltreatment and attachment relationship, links between attachment insecurity and psychopathology, and the issue of whether to maintain or interrupt the relationship between a child and his/her “inadequate” parents. This paper underlines the importance of assessment and the involvement of the institutions in the therapeutic process.
