Le corps est susceptible de représenter un puissant instrument de médiation dans la relation thérapeutique. De par les symptômes qu’elle véhicule, il peut porter l’inscription de profonds conflits psychiques dont l’éclairage va étroitement s’articuler à une véritable écoute de la problématique du consultant au-delà de ce qui est proposé comme matériel clinique dans l’immédiat. Les plaintes somatiques constituent parfois l’expression cachée de revendications narcissiques. Les auteurs rapportent l’histoire pathologique d’une femme de 37 ans, prise dans une union tumultueuse désapprouvée par une belle famille versée dans les résolutions maraboutiques des difficultés existentielles. The authors report on the pathological history of a 37 year-old woman, caught in a tumultuous union frowned upon by her family which is used to religious solutions to existential difficulties. This woman is facing inexplicable aggression from her violent husband which she will link to mystical manipulation.
