520			_aThis article has highlighted the catalytic role of the social action of the Anglican mission in the social development of Ramainandro, a landlocked region, dominated by “animism” and insecurity to the west of Ankaratra (Madagascar) since the end of the 19th century. Education and teaching, medical work and construction of various infrastructures have left their mark on Anglican missionaries. These types of social action have distinguished the region and the population from that time until now.
