| 520 | _aDepuis le début des années 1980, la science politique en Espagne a connu un processus de développement et d’institutionnalisation en tant que discipline académique. Plusieurs études ont analysé ce processus d’institutionnalisation. Cet article les met à jour en se concentrant sur la situation actuelle et en identifiant un certain nombre de défis affectant la discipline et la profession. Ces défis incluent la possibilité d’élargissement de ses frontières externes, les défis posés par le nouveau cadre régulatoire pour l’enseignement supérieur, notamment en ce qui concerne la question de l’interdisciplinarité ; la position de la science politique espagnole au plan international ; sa visibilité sociale et sa pertinence ; enfin, le dépassement des déséquilibres en matière de genre. | ||
| 520 | _aSince the early 1980s, political science in Spain has undergone a process of development and institutionalization as an academic discipline. Several studies have analysed this institutionalization process. This paper updates those studies, focusing on the current situation and identifying a number of challenges affecting the discipline and the profession. These challenges include: the possibility of expanding its external boundaries; the challenges posed by the new regulatory framework for higher education, particularly concerning the issue of interdisciplinarity; the position of Spanish political science in the international arena; its social visibility and relevance; and overcoming gender imbalances. | ||
