Il contredit la description d’un virage à 180° pour restituer un infléchissement dans un contexte social. La deuxième partie évoque les problèmes posés par la vulgarisation et la diffusion, conditions d’accès à l’influence. Elle relativise tant l’opposition entre faire comprendre et dénoncer, que la suspicion qui frappe cette catégorie. L’analyse se fixe enfin sur les défis et problèmes que pose au chercheur engagé la singularité du champ politique. | ||
| 520 | _aDebating contributions published in this review and other ones, this paper questions firstly the researcher’s commitment through the case of Pierre Bourdieu and the criticisms targeting him. The first part of the paper challenges the myth of a Bourdieu U-turn, to make sense of the sociological reasons of a change in his style and intensity of commitment. The second part of the text maps some difficulties linked to the diffusion and media framing of social sciences. It highlights how blurred are the border between a social science explaining and/or denouncing social facts, and suggests that the so-called « denunciation » remains a necessary use of knowledge. Finally this paper suggests some challenges and problems that must face the researchers mobilized for political action. | ||
