520			_aRésuméLe clinicien soucieux du bien-être et du développement de l’enfant peut-il concevoir de laisser celui-ci en présence du parent psychotique maltraitant ? Certains professionnels optent pour la primauté du lien filial tandis que d’autres estiment que le mineur d’âge n’a pas pour fonction de soigner le parent, qui plus est quand ce dernier agresse l’enfant.A partir de vignettes cliniques, l’article propose de parcourir différents critères qui devraient soutenir le clinicien à « trancher » par rapport à la question : séparer ou non l’enfant de son parent ? Quatre sphères sont ainsi explorées, dont celle qui concerne l’enfant, celle qui approche l’adulte, celle qui estime la qualité de leur lien et, enfin, celle qui prend en compte l’environnement socio-familial.L’auteur discute ensuite de la manière de procéder pour décider de l’éloignement d’un mineur d’âge de son contexte familial et conclut en abordant quelques perspectives thérapeutiques.
