Il salue le travail de réflexivité épistémologique dont l’articulation aux travaux d’Armand Mattelart permet de saisir le parti d’une position matérialiste pour la recherche critique en (de la) communication. Il reproche à cet article de rester au niveau d’une exposition trop détachée des évolutions qui participent de ce qu’on appelle la société néolibérale ou le capitalisme tardif et des évolutions théoriques relevant de cette tradition, ainsi que leurs apports pour la recherche critique en (de la) communication. Il termine sur un questionnement concernant la place de la lutte des classes dans la proposition d’un agenda qui semble la négliger. | ||
| 520 | _aThis text is an answer to the Fabien Granjon’s article “Materialism as principium of an agenda for critical communication research” ( Questions de communication, 28, 2015). It welcomes the effort of epistemological reflexivity which link with the works of Armand Mattelart helps to understand the benefit of materialism for critical communication research. But it criticizes the argument for not taking into account the recent evolutions of industrial society (also known as neoliberal or late capitalism society) and of the theoretical evolutions which fall within this critical tradition nor their contributions to critical communication research. At last, this text questions the place of class struggle in this agenda proposal which seems to neglect it. | ||
