520			_aRésumé Une fouille préventive s’est tenue sur une très petite surface au 28 rue du Château d’Albâtre à Soissons (Aisne). Elle a révélé une occupation romaine, au sein d’un secteur de la ville antique relativement mal connu. La fouille a démontré que l’occupation de cette parcelle s’est faite ex nihilo assez tard, dans la première moitié du iie s. En constante mutation, elle évolua rapidement pour perdurer jusque vers le milieu du siècle suivant. Situés à l’arrière d’une domus, les vestiges correspondent à des cours et des jardins et leurs structures associées, tel qu’un appentis ou un petit bassin de récupération des eaux. L’étude minutieuse et complète du mobilier céramique en rapport avec un phasage complexe et aussi détaillé que possible des structures, permet de préciser les connaissances sur ce point ainsi que sur la chronologie de l’occupation dans ce secteur antique.
520			_aThe Evolution of an Antique Neighborhood of Augusta Suessionum through its Vestiges and Pottery Material (Soissons, rue du Château d’Albâtre) Emergency excavations were carried out on a tiny area located at 28 rue du Château d’Albâtre, in Soissons (Aisne). They revealed a Roman occupation in a district of the Antique city still relatively ill documented. The excavation work demonstrated that the occupation of this tract of land took place ex nihilo at a rather late date, in the first half of the iind century. Undergoing a constant mutation, it evolved rapidly to last until the middle of the next century. Situated at the back of a domus, the vestiges correspond to yards and gardens and their associated structures, such as a shed or a small rainwater collection basin. The minute and extensive study of the pottery material carried out along a complex and as accurate as possible phasing of the structures permits and facilitates an update to our knowledge in respect of this pottery as well as that for the chronology of human occupation in this area of the Antique city.
