On teste économétriquement un modèle de décision reposant sur une estimation des gains nets associés au choix, à partir de données permettant une appréhension fine des localisations spatiales. On montre que le gain salarial potentiel est une composante importante de la décision de migrer associé à d’autres variables relatives aux caractéristiques individuelles et scolaires et aux caractéristiques des espaces d’origine et de destination. On met en évidence un effet de sélection pour les migrants et les non-migrants et un supplément de salaire notable pour les migrants. | ||
