La mauvaise gouvernance, la corruption et l’insécurité mettent à mal le développement économique, créant de ce fait des flux migratoires vers le nord et l’Europe. Dès lors, la démocratie comme mode politique est fragilisée et remise en cause par les Africains eux-mêmes.
