Ramuz, un culte rendu au grand auteur se met en place en Suisse romande, reposant sur une vision essentiellement identitaire de la littérature. L’image de l’écrivain national est progressivement construite à partir d’éléments puisés dans l’œuvre de Ramuz et dans l’image livrée à la postérité par l’écrivain à travers ses textes autobiographiques et son Journal, éléments qui, choisis et réinterprétés, vont alimenter des lectures référentialistes propres à exalter le sentiment patriotique. Cet article examine les mécanismes de cette construction, puis cherche à en comprendre les prolongements, en s’interrogeant sur ses conséquences pour la réception de l’œuvre ramuzienne et sur ses implications collectives.
520			_aThe Swiss writer Charles Ferdinand Ramuz dies in 1947. In « Suisse romande », he soon becomes a myth, that of a national writer expressing the identity of his country. Based on the conception of literature as the product of a region’s identity, this elaboration finds its material in the works of Ramuz as well as in the image left by the writer himself in his autobiographical texts and his Journal. This article examines the mechanisms of this elaboration, and tries to understand both its consequences on the reception of his work and its collective implications.
