Cet article tente de faire le point sur ce qu’est réellement l’IA aujourd’hui et de dégager quelques-unes des questions qu’elle pose du point de vue d’un informaticien. Il s’ouvre par une introduction aux principales techniques d’IA et l’analyse de leurs caractéristiques techniques. Suit une réflexion théorique sur ce qu’est l’intelligence qui se prolonge par quelques propos sur la caractérisation de l’intelligence artificielle. Enfin, quelques éléments sont proposés qui questionnent l’éthique et le projet de société intégrant l’IA. | ||
| 520 | _aThe intriguing presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in everyday life and in society can be a source of worry. As much as AI is ubiquitous, it at times appears to get out of hand. This article tries to take stock of what AI really is today and to identify some of the questions it raises from a computer scientist’s point of view. It opens with an introduction to the main AI techniques and an analysis of their technical characteristics. This is followed by a theoretical reflection on what intelligence is, and subsequently on the characteristics of artificial intelligence.
