In the contest between the cardinal and theological virtues, the latter must have priority because they represent the heart of the Christian life. What should we do in the face of the profound rupture in the transmission of these three realities, and how and where will our contemporaries – particularly young people – discover the beauty and the meaning contained by these same realities? Having rejected any kind of moralism and the denunciation of “secularisation” and “Christianophobia”, Christians must once again focus their witness on the Gospel of Christ which awakens in us the virtues of faith, hope, and love. | ||
