Chiffrée et anonyme ou singulière et humaine ? Le mantra de la politique biosécuritaire qu’est la « sécurisation du vivant » parce qu’il réduit l’être humain à sa composante biologique participe à une forme de déshumanisation de la mort et des conditions du mourir. Face aux injonctions biosécuritaires et au risque d’effacement de la mort singulière, d’autres ressources peuvent être convoquées. Elles émergent des récits singuliers qui révèlent à la fois ce phénomène de déshumanisation et le sursaut éthique de sujets singuliers face à l’inacceptable. Un autre paradigme est possible, fondé et au service de l’authentiquement humain.
