Avec le concept de la pulsion, la psychanalyseà la fois complexifie et rend intelligibles les rapports psyché-soma. Del’évolution de l’axe paradigmatique hystérie de conversion - névroseactuelle émanent deux modèles psychosomatiques, la symbolisation etl’adaptation. Un troisième, la démentalisation, est fondé surl’articulation freudienne entre l’hystérie et la névrose actuelle,permettant de penser la vie pulsionnelle aux niveaux psychique et somatique.
