520			_aPour André Green, le négatif est le fondement du dispositif analytique et recouvre un domaine très étendu dans le développement de la pensée freudienne en évoluant de la névrose comme négatif de la perversion jusqu’à la réaction thérapeutique négative. Le fondement de la négativité en psychanalyse concerne les effets de l’absence, de la non présence, de la perte de l’objet et se base sur la capacité de la psyché humaine de répondre à cette absence à travers la représentation. Il faut donc considérer le négatif non seulement comme un élément destructeur mais aussi créateur.

The negative must therefore be considered not only a destructive – but also a creative – element.
